Child Support

Child support occurs when you have been determined to be the parent of a child that is not in your care. In such instances, the law supports that you should have to assist in the parenting of the child, including monetary assistance. If the other parent seeks government aid to help care for your child, you may have to pay for a share of the assistance. You local county has a department of Child Support.
