Good Citizenship

Being a good citizen is something adults may do every day. Adults might practice good citizenship by: obeying traffic laws, paying taxes, helping a neighbor, volunteering or recycling.

Respect, responsibility, caring, and cooperation, are character traits of good citizens. Being a good citizen extends outward to your community, state, and nation. Developing and practicing good character traits as a young adult will lead to practicing good citizenship in adulthood. Here are a few things you can do to practice good citizenship:
