Longer trips require careful planning to assure a safe and sane trip. Planning could include mapping out travel routes, location of gas stations and lodging. There are planners available to assist you with this. There are also travel agencies that can help you. Travel agencies receive their payment from the companies that they buy your travel and lodging from (this is called a commission). So in most instances, you do not pay for their services. Some travel will require a visa or passport.
